Sassy by name, Sassy by nature, I write to explode the myths which surround the lapdancing profession - standing up for the clubs, the girls and the customers. Its not always drinking champagne and playing with my tits - it can be hassle, hustling and hangovers. At heart I'm just a regular twenty-something posh cockney living in London who likes taking her clothes off...
Wimbledon has been super exciting this year with all the Grand Slams knocked out before the semi-finals. This has had the knock-on effect of lots of new sexy bodies to perve at whilst they serve. Not to mention the infamous ball girls who crouch at the sides, ready to collect those miscreant balls. If watching toned athletes serving and swishing has raised your temperature why not finish off a hard day on the stands by going out after Wimbledon? London has plenty of places to go out and here I give you my top 5 stripclubs to visit after Wimbledon.
Whilst Wimbledon is on the southern outskirts of London, it is well served by public transport and a journey into the West End via the tube shouldn’t take more than half an hour to 45 minutes. Tubes are frequent, especially on match days. There is usually quite a jolly atmosphere as you get on the District line with the other tennis fans and head into town – unless of course the Brit’s have played badly…. finger’s crossed that both the British players and the British weather hold up for the tournament.
Going out with men and women? Don’t worry, all the clubs listed below will let women in with a male escort in attendance, and if you don’t have any boys with you a quick phone call before will usually guarantee entry. Platinum Lace and Spearmint Rhino have the best poledancing shows by the way….
There are several strip club’s mere moment’s away from London train termini and tube stations. All the club’s listed below serve alcohol and offer fully nude dances – here’s my top 5 recommendations.
The most efficient way to get into London from Wimbledon is to catch an overland train to Waterloo and then jump on the northern line (black tube line).
Get off the Northern line at Leicester Square and there are several clubs nearby. ….
Stringfellow’s is a veritable nightlife institution – it is the most famous gentleman’s club in the country, has the best looking dancer’s due to it’s strict audition policy and an excellent restaurant. This is the club to visit if you have plenty of money to splash around and have a luxurious and champagne filled evening in one of the VIP areas. It’s open 9pm till 4:30am and you can find it at 16-19 Upper St Martins Lane WC2h 9EF, next to the Sussex pub.
Platinum Lace is one of London’s latest stripclub ventures, and they have spent their money wisely in building a beautiful venue right in the heart of bustling Leicester Square, near the Trocadero. They often have drink promotions and have free entry from 3 till 7pm Monday to Saturday and is open till an eye-curling 6am!!! For the die hard sports fan’s out there they also screen many football and rugby matches on big screens, check the website for details. There are lot’s of girls here and some fabulous stage shows, plenty of booth’s for lapdance’s and a few plush VIP lounges dotted around too!
Head into Soho, a few minutes walk from Leicester Square tube station and there are again many venues. Some have a bad reputation but Windmill’s is always a good bet. Be careful that you don’t wander into a gay club by accident, well it is the heart of theatreland after all darling…
Stay on the Northern line and get off at Warren Street instead and you are across the road from the global titan of striptease – Spearmint Rhino. It’s a huge cavernous space underground filled with sexy women in flouro outfits, several stages, a cracking lighting system and if you go there on the weekend you will catch their Tabu show, with burlesque and fire dancers. It’s at 161 Tottenham Court Road and during the week is open from noon till 4am, so you can even go there for lunch!
Alternatively you can always stay in south London and catch a tram to Croydon, where there are several stripclubs, albeit in a slightly chavvy, surburban part of town. Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club is pretty good and is opposite the KFC on Church Street. Take the Crydon Tramlink towards New Addington and jump off at the Centrale Tramlink Stop – the journey will only take half an hour, tops. Or try Sin City down the road – oh dear, that’s 6 stripclubs in my list!!! One for luck, hey boys….

Well I hope my list of top 5 gentleman’s clubs to visit after the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament has been super useful in organising your post match party. A visit to a stripclub can be a really great way to unwind or celebrate with a bunch of beautiful party girls who just happen to rock at striptease. I’m a lapdancer myself and have shown thousands of guys a good time over the years in clubs all over the world, and cannot think of a better way to end a fun day out with your colleagues, business associates or friends than a bottle of plonk, a few dances and a looooong party in a private VIP room.
