Sassy by name, Sassy by nature, I write to explode the myths which surround the lapdancing profession - standing up for the clubs, the girls and the customers. Its not always drinking champagne and playing with my tits - it can be hassle, hustling and hangovers. At heart I'm just a regular twenty-something posh cockney living in London who likes taking her clothes off...
The hidden gem of London’s stripclub scene, the Gaslight is tailormade for corporate entertainment clients or businessmen looking for a fun evening.
A small boutique gentleman’s club that has carefully handpicked it’s dancers and built up a good reputation amongst the wealthy, corporate entertainment clients and celebrities who party in exclusive Mayfair. Part of its charm lies in the Gaslights manager, Bianca Gascoigne, who has used her celebrity party knowledge to create a unique and fabulous little bar. If you are seeking a discrete lapdancing venue that’s only minutes from busy Piccadilly Circus for entertaining corporate clients or to have a hassle free evening, try the Gaslight of St James.
Imagine a harem of beautiful women from 1001 Nights mixed with a dash of Victorian history, and add some sparkle.
Gaslight is a small boutique club, filled with twinkling lights and soft mirrors. Dominating the room is a circular stage with a spinning pole. Lit up in red & blue with a million crystals suspended around the dancer, it’s a captivating sight.
Run by Bianca Gascoigne, the club not only boasts of having possibly the sexiest boss in London but is also one of only stripclubs in the UK to be managed by a woman. Surprisingly, the celebrity is in almost every night, ensuring that everyone is having a good time and that the ship runs smoothly. Bianca has a high standard for her girls, and there’s a good mix of English Roses and International exotics, but not so many that you get overwhelmed. Good looks and charming personalities that will stop and have a conversation before whisking you off to VIP, rather than the wham, bam ‘Hello, lets go for a dance’ you get in the bigger and busier clubs. Quality, not quantity of women, seems to be the Gaslight motto.
Sometimes it’s nice to take your clients to somewhere different – a hidden gem in London.
They will be impressed that you know somewhere that’s off the main tourist trail, yet still only a minutes walk from Piccadilly Circus. With a discrete entrance just off exclusive Jermyn Street, the Gaslight is tucked away in Mayfair, a historical and genteel part of central London.
Gaslight caters to the higher end customer so has an impressive fridge of Vintage champagnes . You can live the champagne lifestyle for a night with Cristal, Ace of Spades and many others. It even has my personal favourite ‘Perrier Jouet Rose Belle Epoque’ which is just the right shade of pink and fizzy to get a dancer excited.
Intimate and unique, it’s small size creates a fantastic atmosphere – like a family. Gaslight staff are very friendly and several different languages are spoken.
Best for businessmen alone or in small groups who want a discrete and intimate evening. The Gaslight of St. James is also great as a pre/post party for the Mayfair club scene – Tramp and Scotch are both just around the corner, whilst Mahiki is only 2 blocks away.
